St Vincent de Paul Society
The SMG Conference of the Society was formed in 2007 and meets in the Parish Center each Monday at 7:30 PM to review the needs of individuals within our community. The society works in collaboration with other organizations to provide person-to-person service, recognizing Christ in the face of those in need. The society also supports the initiatives of the international society, including clothing and food drives, as well as other special projects. The third Sunday of each month we sponsor the Local Food Pantry Drive, collecting food and household products for food pantries in Hatfield, Souderton, and Lansdale, and for the Archdiocese food cupboard in Norristown. Other special activities are reported in the parish bulletin. The motto of the Society: "No form of charity is foreign to the Society."
