Please contact one of the CYO Board members if you have any questions or concerns about the program. Volunteers are needed in all areas; snack stand coordinator, coaches, dance chaperones, fundraising coordinators and much more. Contact a Board Member for more details.
Eligibility Rule for CYO Sports
The Archdiocese eligibility rule for the CYO program is as follows:
Any registered member of the parish or student of the parish school may participate in any CYO program. Non parish school students should participate in the religious education program (PREP/CCD) if one is available. Non parish school students may participate in the CYO program AND their school sports program. The SMG CYO Board encourages all athletes to participate in Parish Life and Stewardship, particularly acts of service.

Saint Maria Goretti CYO Program is a recipient of the United Way under the Honor Option Plan. Your donation supports our activities for the youth of our Parish in grades 4 thru 12. Please consider SMG CYO in the Fall United Way Campaign this year.
United Way funds are distributed through area and local United Way agencies. The 3 area agencies that distribute funds to our parish CYO are:
·United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania [not PA] lists the recipient agency as CYO/St. Marie Goretti/Hatfield with code number 07994. [NOTE: Marie not Maria]
·United Way [generic] lists the recipient agency as St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church CYO [without Hatfield] with code number 025950.
·North Penn United Way requires donor to WRITE IN the recipient agency as Saint Maria Goretti CYO with NO code number.

Now that Summer has begun it is never to early to start think about our fall season. We are now taken registrations for Soccer and Volleyball. It is open to all St. Maria Goretti Parishioners in grades 5th thru 8th. Download a registration form today and drop off the form with a check to the Parish Center.If you have any questions or would like to help with either of the sports please contact Jack Blosky at 215-723-7623
